Southern Maryland Pork in the Park is a BBQ festival held in Waldorf Maryland. This year it is on Saturday, August 29th. There will be dozens of local businesses represented including some fantastic food trucks! See live bands and play cornhole along with other games. If you love to grill, roast, or smoke meat you should consider participating in the BBQ cook-off. Last year the competition categories were: best burger and best wings/ribs combo platter. This year the competition categories are best pulled pork along with the best chicken thighs & ribs combination. We provide the proteins, you bring your own seasonings, cooking method and style! There are cash prizes and trophies for the winners of the cook-off.

Adult tickets are $10 and as always, children under the age of 12 are FREE! The cost of your ticket includes access to Pork in the Park, live bands, the SoMD Barbeque Society 2020 Cook-off competition and many more family friendly attractions.
